The Moon's Arc

She takes a step back. The energy around her was becoming unstable as lightning struck near her from the dark clouds above. Without much of a choice, she releases the coiled energy. It sparks around her for a moment like a snake coiling around its nest, then launches at its target, electrocuting it with a deadly amount of voltage. The lycan screams in pain before falling to the floor, spasms racking its body. Quickly Moon stands her forelegs on the truck of the nearest tree and breaks off a branch. She picks it up and runs to the lycan and impales the pointy side of the branch into its neck.



Blood spills onto the floor from the impale site and from its mouth. With great difficulty, it tries to speak its final words, "He...found you...no...run...Reine." 

"I'm fine," she whispers barely audible and returns a comforting hug. Almost reluctantly she looks at the beheaded lycans body bleeding out into the grass. "Now I know for sure that something is wrong."

"Indeed. As far as I am concerned this is an act of war, no one harasses my friends and lives to tell of it. Land bridge you said, so to the West. I'll hang this corpse as a reminder as to why no one trespasses on these lands over on our Western border then." Ursus hears foot falls and turns to find Jackie. "Jackie, it would appear we have some individuals who are rude enough to send their lackeys into our land to cause trouble."

Ursus turns back to MoonSong and says softly "It's possible it was at one point, but some where along the way it contracted Lycanthropy. So I'd call it a Lycan rather than a wolf. You will find them all over, but especially in the cold regions of the world."

(Ppssssttt Fennex\Stryde it's typically considered bad form to show up outta no where and pop into the conversation like that, because it takes away the chance for you to RP how you got there, what you observed etc. As well as it takes away the chance for other character's to sense you coming so in that line of thought it is a form of power playing. We will let it go this time but please refrain from doing this in the future.)

"Don't worry Fennex, they are rare in these part's. Because I kill them on sight 9/10 times." Ursus turns back to Jackie. "I see, I am sorry if it caused you concern. It was here for MoonSong, so please be sure to look over her for me if I am ever not around. She can take care of herself yes but help never hurts. This is why we travel in pairs too."

MoonSong was looking at the beast in concentration. " I think he belonged to my brother's pack." she looks to her packmates. "Something is wrong. I can feel it. For now, no one goes out alone at all. under any circumstances. Fennex," she focuses her attention on the male. "Tonight when we sleep I want you with me."
