Ursus sighs and shakes his head with a faint smile "Bay. You can't beat yourself up or worry so much. Taking a slow and easy is a beautiful thing. You get to see so many things you never could if you just sprinted to your destination every time. So think od it as you're doing me a favor, you're LETTING me slow my pace and now I get to enjoy all the frozen beauty we have here, and all the better to hold conversation too."

Quite a bit behind then, MoonSong followed with s stick in her jaws. She tosses it into the air playing a game with herself while following Ursus, Bay and Jackie. She kicks up snow as she plays and knaw on the stick. As she knaw on the 'toy' she thinks about Bay and her role as Medicine. What's it like being a medicine wolf she wonders. She shrugs the thought away when her stomach makes a noise in protest and instead fantasizes about food, drool spilling from around the stick that kept her mouth open.

Bay nods to the male, accepting his answer, before turning to look at moonsong. "And what are you up to?" she askes with a faint smile of amusement

The stick plummets to the snow as she squeaked "NOtHing!" then cleared her throat, "I mean uhh..nothing!" She laughs the embarrassment away and tries, and failing, to discreetly push the snow over to hide the evidence. "Just goofing off! Fantasizing about the next meal" she spoke to Bay, her tail lazily wagging as she trots over to them, catching up.

Ursus smirks but doesn’t say anything as he leads them onward through a thicket of wild rose and around and down a weathered rock face. It is here where the babbling stream is that Ursüs was looking for. Around them stand tall and proud many large needle baring trees and very little underbrush with no small trees. As they start approaching Ursüs stops, turns and states “It is here you may find trout. Be cautious though as they are exceptionally skittish. I have already damed up a section here to help make it easier to catch them. Be sure to return any females that are spawning back to the stream alive so thst we maintain this food source.”

Jackie giggles softly as Moonsong dropped her stick. She nodded to Ursus after his mention of the fish.

The tawny dame nods before padding to the stream. She quickly ducks her head in, and pops back up with a fish within moments. She carries it over from the water and sets it down. Licking her maw. “Done and done” the fae says softly, finding hunting in the water quite easy.

Ursus smiles at Bay and nods "Alright good job! Eat as many as you want, you especially need the food." Ursus walks over to the waters edge and slowly lowers a paw into the water, and as the trout calm and draw near he slaps one into the bank, lancing it with his claws. He then pulls it out of the water and places it before Bay.

Jackie laid at the edge of the stream staring in after the others. She didn’t dare enter the shall water. Her tongue slowly slipped into the water under rocks. As fish curious went at it she quickly wrapped around one and lifted her head. She laid the fish down on the ground and pressed her paws into it.

Bay smiles and says, “well water and I have a.. symbiotic relationship.” And then she turns to ursus and replies to him as well, “Thanks! And you should keep your food. You’ve done enough for me” She says, grateful to the brute for all his help.
