“Alright, to the Hinterland’s! It is our southern most lands and leads into Howling Hills territory. We are tackling it first before it warms up. Then we move out to the Frost Fallen Meadow, the Dead Woods is next, and after that the Peak Of Pestilence. After that is through we may head back to the dens or explore more, we shall see.” (Ursüs says all this telepathicly to Aelin as well.)

Moon sat there awaiting the pack to move out. She decided to walk in the back if the pack to make sure no one was left, or fallen behind

Ursus leads them to the first bit of mountains they will have to go around just to leave the den site. This is just our first obstacle for the day, everyone stay close and don't step on leafy patches. Sometimes leaves are held up by twigs and only look like firm ground, then give and send you sliding to your doom. Step where I step and you're good to go. He then leads them up and around, granting them a nice view of the meadows and the forest not too far from them.

Sirhaan followed Ursus’s trail making sure to be careful. She slowed every now and again to look at the forests.

MoonSong found it too easy to step in the large males pawprints as hers are small compared to his. She looked around, but also kept an eye on her packmates as she brought up the rear. Her head hanging low as she takes in the other scents.

Fennex got self-conscious as Moon was taking in everyone's scent, as he hadn't a a bath and quickly dives in some snow to substitute for water.

As Ursus leads them on down, they now enter the tail of the Dead Woods. The occasional Raven calls out and Elk can be heard bleating off in the far distance. Before long, things will start to warm up just a little, it won't be too bad but it is noticeable. MoonSong. I hate to share this but there is a river we have to cross. The good news it there is a way over. I have pushed trees across, removed branches in the walk way and wove their limbs into rails. If you are still not comfortable with this you may remain behind as it will just be a short while.

He head whips up from the floor. Sounded like a bridge. "It should be fine. I'll come along." She says and listens to the ravens. Unfortunately she couldn't understand, their words overlapping each other. "Do you have a fenced elk here like the salmon?" She asks after hearing the elk.

As Ursus leads them along, a distance river can be seen. Trapped elk? No. I have never seen such a thing before outside of human use. Though they weren't elk they had, something much larger. Are you hungry?
