An Old Friend.

“Alright, it’s good to have you back.” She says starting to walk the wrong way before turning around and going the right way. Felan is standing outside her den and she gives him a quick smile before vanishing into it.

“I’m doing a lot better, thank you for saving me. Still just a little sore but nothing too terrible. Speaking of that, how did I die? One moment I was walking in a forest and the next thing I knew, everything was dark.” Felan said, sitting down.

Felan sighs, “Yeah I saw that coming, thankfully most of the futures I saw nobody died, though I guess none of them came true. The odd thing is, in only two of them did Artemis die, from being killed, the others he lived a long life and died of old age.”

“For some of them, yes, in the rest he goes on terrorizing Sirhaan and I until his end.”

Felan pauses for a moment, “There are very few futures where we succeed at doing that without others deaths.”

“They’re all accurate, it just depends on which one we get, and once one comes the others change.” Felan thinks about it, “Kind of, though it’s harder for me to see the nearer futures. If you want closer futures you’ll have to talk to Sirhaan, who is sleeping right now I believe.” He turns to look at Moon, “I can definitely hear his mind though, he’s anything but happy.”

He shakes his head, “His actions are unpredictable as is his mind. Though I have seen him during a moment of sanity, if we’re lucky those will keep him cautious when you or anyone else who is capable of harming him are around.”
