Kreig stops in place as he analyzes the situation, and figures no immediate intervention on his part is needed as Irina recovered her balance. "That is me, yes. StarBurst and I are here, we saw you bolt off... I couldn't help but be a touch concerned. Soda seems fine too and the weird one has left. For now."

"strange one?" her head tilts at the words, but then she remembers. "Oh. Oh no." she head hangs low and she makes her way down the junk pile. When she gets down she apologies to everyone. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I-i dont know what came over me. Throwing out the stranger, and startburst...you running after him...triggered something. I panicked and ran." she whimpers with her head between her legs. "Im sorry."

Kreig slowly steps up to her and nuzzles her shoulder in a comforting manner. “Don’t worry about it. You’re safe now as are we.”

Starburst gently wagged her tail and looked at Irina, she placed her paw on Irina’s to try and make sure she knew they weren’t mad.

Irina gazes at Starburst, then to Sodas. These two are young. Where she has failed multiple times before, she will fight tooth and nail to keep these to alive until she is old and cannot move anymore. She lifts her head. "Thank you. Young one," she directs to Soda. "you are welcomed to stay at my home for as long as you wish. Or if you wish to live elsewhere, you are also welcomed to come in at any time." she offers residence to the young shepherd dog.

Kreig can't help but feel a bit out of place, so he slowly retreats to near by shadows where he keeps watch for those whom can not be trusted, such as literal junk yard dogs.

Not wanting him to feel left out Starburst followed Kreig, letting Soda and Irina talk. She sits down by him and looks at the Junkyard while puffing out her sweater covered chest.

Kreig tilts his head as he examines the sweater the best he can, not being able to see it well with the loss of normal sight. "Is this comfortable? You like having it on? I can barely see it so its hard to tell if its bothering you, little one."

She smiles and nods before getting closer to him to show how it kept her warm, trying to make it easier for him to understand without having to see well.

Krieg is a bit shocked to say the least, to have a pup be so friendly with him. He flinches away, at first but relaxes and settles. "I see, it's soft and warm. We'll have to take extra good care of it won't we?" Kreig gives Starburst a soft smile before flicking his dead eyes back up to the steel and rubble around them.

She smiles back, happy to have met others who were friendly and had no ill intent. While looking at the area around them her mind wanders a bit, thinking of her lost friends and family. She curls her tail around her body and lowers her ears a little.

Irina looks over at StarBurst and Kreig. She sees the young dog curl sadly in herself. her own heart saddens and she lifts her head and looks around, trying to pinpoint the exact location of one of her children. Satisfied, she walks over to the two. "Kreig, my offer extends to you as well. You can stay with me and Star, or come by anytime. The choice is yours." Irina then smiles at Starburst. "Shall we go, young lady? I do believe I promised to help you find your family. Do they look like you?" she asks.
