MoonSong halts as she sees his paws stop and turn to face her. She doesn't look up at him as he speaks. It's like old MoonSong had resurfaced. Withdrawn. Her tail drags on the snow and she shakes her head no. "I won't be vanishing." She is only able to hold eye contact with him for three seconds before she looks away. Like a child and a parent. "I'll talk to you later about it." she points forward with her paw. "Continue?"
too many thoughts and no thoughts floated around her head. too much and yet none. Were they even her own? A sudden chill has her shaking her fur.

With a soft nod Ursus turns his eyes to the land ahead of them. I'm glad you won't be vanishing. It would be weird without you. I'll keep my word. Any three questions, I'll answer them as best as I can. As they exit the mountain pass, Ursus leads them in towards a boulder and a patch of trees. Behind the bolder and trees are what you'd expect. The side of a mountain. "MoonSong. In here we will find the heart of our home. In the future should you ever come here without me, picture the inside of this place and picture what it is you need it for. Should it be for the greater good you will find passage through. For now, I need you to stay right next to me, to trust me and not freak out. You will not be able to see anything for a while nor will you feel anything but cold. Any questions or are you ready?"

"I don't freak out." she says distractedly as she looks at the mountain. "No." her words were short and she steps forward and grabs the end of his tail in her mouth signaling she is ready.

Under different circumstance Ursus may have debated that but instead walks forward into the mountain, phasing through the stone into total darkness. Cold strike's the face though it's windless in this empty void devoid of anything as they wander onward for what feels like a life time, before suddenly the cold damp of a cave floor finds them. "One moment please." Ursus's left paw bursts into teal-ish rays, unveiling a cave and sending shimmers into the distance, though upon his paw being placed upon the wall, the light is instantly magnified as veins of crystals flare with life, a myriad of colors and crystals of all shapes and sizes. "Welcome to the heart of the mountain."

She was slightly uncomfortable by the cold and darkness. The pawprint piqued her interest as she silently observed. Once entered the heart of the mountain, ger eyes sparkled with the gems as she released her grip on Ursus' tail and walks closer to the colorful minerals.

So I shall have to construct a prison for him, for his well being and ours.” Ursus clears his throat and takes a few steps further into the cave. “You’ll notice different colors and shapes of the crystals here. To find out what one does, simply touch it. You’ll feel what it does. Any questions?”

"I never really liked Felan." She admits aloud. This gem she liked. It made the whispering and itching in her blood calm down. She reaches out with her paw and smacks the gem, breaking it into a manageable size for her to carry.

"That may be for the best." Ursus states calmly as he slowly walks through, scrutinizing the many crystals upon the surfaces. "This is... Unfortunate. I do not see enough of what we need. The crystals, they are alive and grow. When you take one, a new one takes its place. This will take some time, then. I only hope I didn't notice too late." As Ursus's sentence reaches its climax and comes to an end, so does any last shred of joy in his eyes, a mask pulled away to reveal a very grim visage. "But for now... This will have to do." Ursus snaps a calming crystal suitable for a necklace off with the intent of having Neo give it to Felan. "Should you be ready we can go. Or we can stay it's up to you. To leave, you will wish to picture leaving the cold and seemingly inescapable darkness, or be trapped in a void, possibly forever."

she carries the large gem in her mouth. She becomes alarmed and glances at the black wolf. "I cannot hold on to you? I...cannot focus properly right now..." She avoids his eyes as she finishes her sentence. She wants the whisperings gone, and her pack safe.

Ursus shakes his head no and steps up. "My apologies, you can of course hold onto me. May I suggest I carry that crystal for you? I can still communicate with you if need be and that way you are for sure safe. I'd hate for something bad to happen." Ursus studies MoonSong's odd behaviors but still can't get a trace of what is wrong other than distress but why wouldn't she be distressed?

Moonsong allows him to carry the crystal in her stead, and once again goes to hold on to his tail, but this time draping it over her neck first. To be sure that she wont be lost to the void. She would probably corrupt should she get stuck there.

Alright, here we go. Ursus begins the slow trek back through the darkness with MoonSong in tow and crystals clenched within his maw. By the way... Should you ever be chased by something you can't kill, as long as it can't read your mind to find the way, take them in here. They will surely perish within the void. As quick as the darkness took them, it releases them and back to a land of life and color they find them selves. Gently setting MoonSong's crystal down he then inspects her to make sure she is fine.

As they exit the void and step back into the land of life Moonsong drops Ursus' tail and leaps over him and grabs her crystal and does small prance. No offense to the mountain, but she is never going in there again. The mountain can kiss her tail.

With a smirk and a snort Ursus watches MoonSong's joyous exit of the mountain. "Alright twinkle toes, now you know a small fragment of what weighs on me. There is much much much more that relates to this stuff buuut it looks like you don't wanna deal with all that ever again so I guess I'll keep it to myself. Ready to head back? I want to make sure Sirhaan is well. I'd imagine she's a whirlwind of emotions."
