(Oh boy. Not only do I not have the notification of the last post from a month ago which I feel terrible about <my apologies>. But. Something I want to note, typically when you're trying to introduce a character to a scene you have to take into consideration everyone's capacities (their stats in their biography) and give them a chance to notice them. Because just showing up at the right time and no one noticing you is a kind of power play. There can be exceptions, like if some one asks a staff member to show up in a thread or if a staff member feel's they need to interject to prevent something negative they can. Another example is if you check with everyone in a "scenario" to see if a surprise is ok. There are different rules for NPC's but that's a whole different topic.)

"Just right through the mountain pass he-..." Rustling cuts Ursus off as his keen ears and eyes shift around. Sniffing, Ursus doesn't catch any scents of something menacing so he doesn't look too hard for the source of the disturbance... Though his piercing gaze may cross over Bolt regardless with his quick scan over the area. Feeling no need to bring up the mater with Vulpes he continues. "The trip is almost over. You'll see the dens area as soon as we pass through." Ursus leads them into the mouth of the pass, watching Vulpes in the event she has more to say.

“Oh ok” She replyed. Vulpes also heard the rustling in the bushes and asked “Did you here that?” Here eyes shot round to the bush, then back to Ursus. “Do you think it was just a rabbit or...?” She paused, looking back at the bush “do you want me to get it out?” She though he would say no, so she turned her head around and took a few steps forward before looking back a the bush.

shiter me timbers it Bolt thought you’re making to much noise. Bolt eyes met with Ursus’s eyes. Well sh*t then Ursus looked away thank the lord he didn’t see me. Then the white fox made eye contact. Her eyes were unnaturally green, that’s odd. Then the fox said “Do you want me to get it out?” Bolt didn’t know what it meant ‘get it out?’ Bolt just hoped he wouldn’t be seen so he stayed in the bush, trying not to move.

“Oh okay, is it ok if I do? I know we are in no danger, but I don’t know, I don’t like how something is watching us. I don’t know why.” She looked up at Ursus, wanting him to give her a nod to say yes. She kept looking back at the bush, then looked back at Ursus.

Ursus shakes his head no. "That is never a good idea, when you are new to an area. What if its a packmate and you startle them? You could be attacked. A compromise I'm willing to make is I go look, should it set your mind at ease."

She let out a small sigh of relief “Yes I would and please can you. I don’t know why I am like this, I just don’t like the idea of something watching us.” She turned her head to look at Ursus as if to say thank you for all he has done and just for letting her join his pack.

Oh no no no no. Bolt panicked when he herd that Ursus was coming over to where he was hiding. He thought he was stuffed because if he ran Ursus would see and hear him and if He stayed he would be caught and he didn’t want to be caught by any means. Bolt mind raced as it tried to find an excuse for being in the bush. Suddenly it hit him, what was he doing in the forest in the first place. That’s a good plan, that makes sense I just need to back up a tiny bit. SNAP! He had accidentally trodden on a stick and it snapped under the weigh. I am f*cked he was saying to himself but he kept going backwards so it didn’t look like he was watching them.

With a small smile and a nod, Ursus attempts to reassure Vulpes. "It's not an odd thing to want to be safe. It's fine, you'll see." with that he begins slowly stalking towards the source of the disturbance... His keen nose picking up familiar scents. Bolt... Are you near by any chance? If so we have a new fox you may wish to meet. Ursus projects this thought *hoping* it is indeed Bolt that's near and that all is well as he continues forward in his search.

Bolt had gotten in to a position where it could have be him looking for herbs or looking at them but he wasn’t sure if Ursus had noticed his ice blue eyes watching them before. Bolt went about sniffing in the bush for herbs before seeing some small berries. That’s odd, I didn’t feel them when I was in the bush. They were a dark shade of purple and in a cluster. Bolt carefully picked the stalk so they were all kept together before looking to see where Ursus was now. Bolt was less but still worried about there inevitable interaction and started to practice what he was going to say to cover up the fact he had been watching. Oh hello Ursus, I hadn’t noticed you there, how are you? Who is that behind you? I was examining these berries...

Ursus's eyes narrow at the lack of response. Has he made a mistake of whom is near? Calling out verbally this time, he hopes to elicit a response. "Bolt! Are you there? If so please respond. We've a new comer whom is uneasy at the moment. Please show yourself to calm their nerves."

Boltie you have been found, just show yourself Thunders voice echo in his head, this had become a normal thing after Thunders unfortunate end. Bolt stood up, shook his coat out from leafs. “Oh hello Ursus how are you doing today? I was out collecting herds and had found these berries” Bolt held up the bunch of berries he had found in the bush “I haven’t seen them before and had gotten myself on ‘life autopilot’ drowning out most of the noise around me” he laughed at this before spotting the snowy white fox, with eyes as green as emeralds. He tilted his head slightly as he examined the fox.
