Small puffs of white plummet from the sky as a cold front settles in. Tracks of various forms of life lay strung out all through the snowy floor of the forest. MoonSong/Ezrah , will you thrive here or will you find a shallow grave? |

The snow falling from the sky did little to bother MoonSong as she trudged through the snow. The incoming cold waving warnings were pushed by the white wolf. Her eyes were dull as she kept on walking on what seemed like autopilot. A sudden movement from her left snaps her out of whatever trance was in. Looking down, she had been following prey tracks. She shakes her head, ignoring the grumble of her belly and shakes the frost from her fur. Raising her nose to the sky taking in the foreign scents. An icy wind sends a shiver down her spine. Even with her thick, double ice wolf coat, she will freeze. With her head hanging low, she continues walking in search of temporary shelter.

Jackie’s large paws dug into the snow as she ran through it. She didn’t have a destination she just was getting her energy out. She picked up her pase as she kept darting over, under and around trees.

MoonSong comes across a fallen tree on her path. Her ears twitch, thought she picked something up but ignored it in favor of the log. She slugs over and begins digging a hole under the tree. A hole small enough for her and keeps enough warmth. With a quick look over her shoulder, she crawls into her hole to hide.

Jackie her tongue hand loosely as she ran until she caught the scent of some other wolf. She slowed down and sniffed around retracting her tongue. She stopped when she spotted the wolf hiding. Her ears slowly perked as she lowered to a laying position. Still eyeing the wolf.

Inside her hole, her ears twitch. She shakes her head after the 3rd twitch. she adjust herself so that her head barely visible. Hoping whoever lived here didn't find her

Jackie shifted her body as she spotted the wolf just barely. She didn’t move as she settled down

This time she knew she heard something. Perhaps it was just the snow settling or prey scavenging for some greens, but the nerves in her body practically screamed at her to check. She emerges from her hole, slowly turning her head examining the area and freezes when she spots a wolf lying in the snow looking right at her. She freezes wide-eyed.

MoonSong might as well have looked like a deer frozen in headlights as the wolf crawled towards her a little. She lowers her head trying to catch the strange wolfs smell. All her experience with encountering stranger wolves in their territories came into play as she whines and rolls onto her back submissively

Jackie lifted her head and tilted it slightly. She still didn’t speak as she just watched the wolf eagerly. As the wolf whined Jackie whined back and watched her roll over. Jackies tail brushed over the snow briefly as she scooted a little closer once again.

This stranger hasn't attacked her yet? Her behavior is infectious as MoonSong crawls over to the stranger wolf, her tail wagging shyly as she greets the female with a "Hello."

MoonSong smiles  her tail wagging fast now, picking up the loose top snow. She stretched out her neck, reaching to touch the female's nose in greeting and to get a better sniff at her scent. "Is this your territory? My apologies for intruding." |
