Acclimating

"Aww don't worry about that alright? You can always come to me in times of uncertainty. All it is, is a group whom works together to help ensure we each have a good life. There is a power structure of sorts but we want to hear what everyone has to say, because more minds means better chances of the best possible solution to an issue. Though when I pick a solution we stick with it. Deviating from a plan can cause harm. I won't pretend I know everything but I do have experience in keeping others safe and organizing task groups and that is why I need you all to trust me and why I must earn everyone's trust, so that things go as well as they can. See, if we work together, even if I were to falter things won't be too bad because we all are covering each other. Jackie is also in command and leads with me, I trust her because my Grand Father trusted her. Then it's Sirhaan, and then its you. Everyone else is a lower rank than you by just the slightest as they are untested. I will also want to make it clear that leadership positions aren't abused. If I find abuse here I WILL snuff it out without hesitation so you can rest assured knowing that no one is gunna push you around. The goal is for everyone to get along and have a group within the pack that caters to their particular skills as it makes everyone happy and feel satisfied with their work. I want everyone to pull their wait too but I'm not about to work you all into the ground and I'll never send you all to do something I wouldn't do, and I shall always take into consideration everyone's capacities when I make a choice. I hope this may clarify a few things for you and maybe help you feel a bit more secure with the concept."

Bay listened quietly to the brute’s speech, nodding every once in awhile before finally replying. “I’m glad. It sounds like a very wonderful place.” The fae said with a smile gracing her features

Jackie looked and pawed the water breifly before stepping back and just staring to it ignoring the 2 talking.

Ursus glances to Jackie for a split second then meets Bay's gaze once more and tilts his head. "That is an interesting thought. We all come from some where. Perhaps I should word it differently. In your travels did you experience what many would call a colder climate or did you start your journey out in a warmer place? I am from a snowy place, but then traveled through lush forests and grasslands, then a waste land, then back into healthy yet too warm lands where I remained as a second in command for a pack many months before coming here."

Ursus winces a little as Bay describes her wanderings, in particular when she references her leg. Recalling that not too long ago he had a lame leg too. "Likely over a years worth of wandering..." He says softly to no one in particular as he gazes off for a moment. "Either way I suppose its a good thing you're comfortable here then though I think that just formed more questions than it answered." Ursus then clears his throat and quickly thinks of something else in the event this topic may grow uncomfortable for Bay. "Are you hungry?"

"Awww, you know you may request aid for getting food at any time don't you? Especially since we gotta get you back into good health. Anything in particular ya want to try?"

Ursus thinks to himself as he dries himself off away from everyone so as to not soak them and then turns back and faces Bay "You need some solid nutrition... I'm gunna take you towards a mountain stream if you're up for it. Ideally I can get you some fish, and while you eat those perhaps something else will find its way towards the water and then it will be a meal for you too."
