Jackie’s ears flattened as he lightly scolded her. Jackie averted her gaze down towards the ground infront of his paws. “I-I’m sorry...” she mumbled softly now almost laying down. It was obvious Jackie wasn’t like this just because of him.

As the male plops down Jackie seemed to take a sharp inhale as if awaiting pain. Her ears slowly lifted at his words. “What do you mean?”
