"Okay" she says and turns back into the bear. "But first I'm actually kinda hungry" she says with mouthful of bear meat. She ate a lot for a wolf of her size, and once done she rolls onto her size. "Ursus your gonna have to roll me to the dens!" She jokes

She sticks her tongue at him. "I have eaten bears that have been dead for a while. Not freshly killed. Some of my techniques I use for fighting and hunting I learned from watching the felidaes"

"Oh my bad. The felines. My...older pack..in a far away land..." she grins making her voice deeper like a storyteller. "We had overlapping territory with the uh...I think they are called lions? Big, they are and almost white in color." She rolled back onto her paws. "They lived in the caves and came out at dusk and dawn. I would sneak out the pack to go watch them hunt. It's amazing!"

"Really? That is rather fascinating to hear. There were some in the land of the last pack I was in but not my birth packs lands. I don't know if it was too cold or if our patrols were just too hard on them, which would be the idea so it would make sense. I was unaware they would cooperate with wolves though!"

"Cooperate? Hmm." Her thoughts float back to the time the lions had caught her following them on their hunt. "Noo...I dont..." she is silence as she tries to figure out her words. "I remember things being a bit tense between the pack and the lions. There was one mutual respect. Stay away from the caves and they stay away from our forest. It was strange."
She stands and gets closer to usrus and whispers. "I snuck in once. Into their caves. It's so complex! And it looked like they followed a king and queen hierarchy."

"Well, I guess you can say that if we consider the alphas as king and queen" she looks up in wonder. "The queen leads the hunts if I remember, and cares for her..um..pride. the king...he protects them. He doesnt help with the hunts though I noticed. After the queen and the females get the kill he comes in and steals it. Then the females fight among themselves to see who gets to eat."
She starts to walk away in search of water. "There can also be more than one king. Very strange. I wonder what being a feline is like? I definately love their hunting strategies!"

Ursus wrinkles his nose a bit as he trots alongside MoonSong. "Doesn't sound like I'd get along with them. Stealing food is a big no, and I'd never let you all fight amongst yourselves to see who gets to eat. I would simply get more food, or if need be give away my portion. And... I.. I just can't imagine asking you all to do something I wouldn't! What rubbish!!! I refuse to use you all in such a manner."

She laughs beside him. "It just their way. Perhaps not all felidaes are like the cave lions. On my wandering I seen some fast cats. Small felines with big paws and short stubby tails." She explains wiggling her tail at the last part. "They didnt act the same way as the lions."

Ursus sticks his tongue at MoonSong before continuing. "That makes sense. You know the Howling Hills pack south of us? It's led by my friend Mai and she actually uses the title Alpha, while I do not. That is just one of the many cultural differences we have. Though I'm sure there are some similarities too. For instance they encourage sticking together when traveling just as we do."

Ursus snorts and rolls his eyes as he gently whaps her with his tail. "Jarl, actually. We don't use the typical names of ranks because we are not typical. And not to mention may have come across a nasty Alpha and so I have done away with the title to help provide a more comfortable setting for everyone. The well being and happiness of the pack is my main concern. My needs come afterwards."
