She stares back at him silently. Her eyes darting back and forth between his. She blinks as she turns away, satisfied with his answer, to a quite large puddle of water she had been eyeing the walk here. She stands next to it and asks Ursus, "now what?" As she jostled the bird napping on her shoulders.

"Ideally the bird wouldn't have fallen asleep on the way here, and would have seen the water as we approached it. Wait there just a moment." Ursus walks over to a bush that bare's red fruits and thorns and gingerly collects a mouthful before returning and placing some by the water and in the water. "These are Rose Hips and are edible. Ravens love them, they are very sweet. He will like them. Tell him you have something sweet for him since you have found water."

"Syke," she called his attention and tapped the water with her paw. "Water." she starts splashing again catching the Raven's attention. He turns his head to look at the source of the noise and flutters down to investigate. He sees the berries and eats them. Afterward, he drinks the water.

Her eyes don't leave her avian as she whispers back to him. "Do you think he knew? About...that." she hinted to her loss of control. "He keeps calling me foolish. Idiot."

she tries to think back. The only thing she can remember was when she was alone in the cold during a thunderstorm. The natural lightning supercharged the energies and caused a reaction from her ability. She remembers trembling under a rock formation. Thunderbolts stretching across the sky and her own electricity beginning to spark. There was a caw outside her shelter. A single blackbird stared at her. It said something to her, but she did not speak his language.
"He is the same bird.." she said wide-eyed and a bit breathless at her sudden realization. "A long time ago, there was a really bad thunderstorm and my ability reacted to it. There was a blackbird there who found me...."

"I don't remember. I think it was shortly after I left the 'new' pack because I was alone." She turns to face him. "he is mean because he cares?"
Syke then caws a word she doesn't know. "He is probably an old man. Like you." she fires her words at Ursus, wanting to get back to a playful mood and keep her past in the past.

MoonSong laughs at the onslaught of snow. "Perhaps old enough!"
She moves out the way and shakes off whatever clung to her fur. "Thank you for helping me with my bird problems..." She mock bows as distorts her voice in a teasing manner "My king."
