The howl of Ursus echos across the dens as mid day set in. (Aelin) Aelin, please come find me at the gathering point if you want to be part of the talks about our customs, though you have already been told them so it's not a must for you. As the entirety of the Frost Bite Clan gathers around him he announces. "Some of you already know our ways, our customs. I figured I'd gather you all here today to share them in case some of you haven't heard them, or have forgotten. Please feel free to ask questions, once I am done speaking. First off. We honor Strength and Compassion above all else, for Compassion without Strength is useless and Strength without Compassion is cruel; this is our code. It shall be upheld or else. All are welcome amongst us so long as they abide by our code. Strength comes in many forms, a gentle heart and a calm personality that soothes those in pain is priceless, and for this we welcome those whom do not wish to spill blood with open arms too, despite our appearances and reputations. We are those that remain vigilant against the evils in the world, and stand fast between it and the innocent and the weak. We do not have restrictions on friendships or on whom one may seek as a mate. So long as the love is true and it will be a healthy relationship that is all that matters. When some one is ready to find a mate, they wear a necklace made of a vine and at least one red flower. When a pair is found they must in some way or other secure a den that will fit them both. Then they are paired and given a necklace made of braiding the two old ones together. Den's may be owned by all though they must be earned if some one wants a specific one. There are items that can be made to help grant you protections and you can earn them or sometimes they will be given away at special occasions though due to the nature of them they are a bit more on the rare side. Any questions?" (Should Aelin have shown up he'd have greeted her via telepathy and given her a quick summery of what it was he was saying out loud.) |

Shadow heard the howl near the dens and pulled herself up. 'not again' she thought looking at the small red spots in the snow. She kicked her muzzle to clear away any trace of blood before racing towards the howl. (Shadow doesn't really like living near others so she sleeps away from everyone but I'm sure that Will change when she gets a den)

Sirhaan sat down and listened to the speech. When it was over she dug a small hole in the snow and laid down watching and listening to the others.

Aelin sits a short distance away from her friend, nodding at his words. However, a pesky fly was continually flying in her face and she was making very odd expressions while scrunching her nose, trying to quietly shoo it off

She rolls her chocolate eyes once again, "Just because you can talk in my mind doesn't mean you can read it!" she says in a sort of sing song voice. However, as she speaks, she does end up burning the fly to cinders.

Shadow walked into the den area and looked at Ursus. She didn't take well to him or anyone else. She thought for a moment and decided to leave and listen from a distance, not wanting to be around the others.
She heads away from the main territory instead, heading towards the borders of the territory. Eventually making her way out of the full territory she enters near another border where she meets a stronger wolf, the exact age as her, and walks up to him a bold expression on her face. (Now time to have the siblings meet! I'm making this thread on the outside of the howling hills thread since that's where Shadow is now)
