The training went well through the day all the way past sundown. Once they had gotten themselves accustomed to wielding a spear, and she was sure that they would be able to at least defend themselves from another wielding wolf, she ended the training. Exhausted she drops her 'spear' and heads straight for her den, saying "good job everyone. Rest well. its a long travel to the outlands." and collapsing on her juniper mattress with a relieved sigh and quickly starts drifting to sleep.

Aelin nods her head to moon as a goodnight before padding to her den. Upon arrival she curls up in her little bed with an exhausted yawn. She watches the sky above, thinking of the last time she was in a battle, and afraid if she closed her eyes she would be plagued with dreams from said event.

After everyone departs the training, Ursus stays behind a while thinking of the upcoming event and his concerns. As he departs he checks on MoonSong, whom is fast asleep (or so he thinks, if MoonSongs capacity to sense is higher than his stealth she can choose to notice him) and continues on to Aelin as there's concern for her too. He gently approaches her den, but doesn't get too close and bends down to peer inside to see if she's still awake.

MoonSong lifts up her head and sees Ursus leaving the den. perhaps he thought she was asleep. She hesitates for a moment and decides to walk after him since she shouldn't fall asleep without Fennex. She sees him peering into Aelin's den. "Ursus," she whispers. "Did you need something?"

(Just to MoonSong) Sort of, I was going to make sure you were ok but thought you were alseep, then I came over hear to tell Aelin it may not be bad for her to stay near me so that I can tell her if I hear anything. I'd hate for something to get the jump on her.

she nods. she would offer to sleep with Aelin but she had a meeting with someone. She worried about Aelin's safety. "well good night then." she bids farewell and heads back to her own den, pausing to look up at the moon. It was half full. She would have sung a song for the lunar celestial but for fear of giving away their location she swallows the song and crawls back inside. She decided that Fennex could join later and allows sleep to take her.

Aelin had turned her attention from the sky to Ursus, not having heard him or moonsong approach. She tilted her snowy head in concern. "Hi Ursus, are you alright?"

Ursus approaches Aelin a few steps more before laying down. I am well, don't worry Aelin. I am actually here for you. I have a proposition. Since you can't hear, I'd like to be your ears in this battle. Stay near me, and I'll tell you of what I hear and if plans change or anything of the sort. I know you can take care of yourself though, so I understand if this isn't something you want to do.

Aelin thinks on this for a moment before nodding. "That sounds like a good idea, if you're sure its not too much trouble for you?" she says, lowering her ears slightly, not wishing to be a burden.

Ursus crawls forwards without standing and nuzzles Aelin. I am positive or I wouldn't have offered. And, Aelin? You're never trouble. Anything but in fact. Your other senses are sharper than my own, so you'll let me know what is there that I can't hear. It works out perfectly.

Ursus gently boops her nose for rolling her eyes. Will you be able to sleep? I've been trying to figure out what to do about sleep for me. As much as I hate it, I may have to sleep tonight.
