Shadow moved snow out of the way as she searched for some of the herbs she couldn't find in the main land, her fur moving in the wind. as she found a bush of herbs she herd a cry from somewhere in the area around her. she started to look around looking down to make sure she didn't step on whatever she was finding. she found a tree base and snuggled into the snow, grass, and other items from the underbrush laid 3 pups two where lifeless. The only one still alive was about 3 weeks old, still unable to eat hard food, chewed up or not. Shadow thought of how she could feed the pup to keep it alive as she studied it. It had light grey fur with highlights of brown, dark grey, and some red spots now and then. Shadow dropped the herbs she was carrying and put the pup in a warmer area before heading over to the 2 lifeless pups. she picked them up, and somehow managed to pick the third one up before going away from the border and digging 2 holes where she put the lifeless pups in to them. she covered them up quickly. She picked the third one up and walked more inland before stopping to put it down and inspect it better. The pup was a male and had one infected cut on his muzzle. Shadow ,not knowing what to do, curled around the pup protecting it from the cold. without knowing it she fell asleep with the pup in her fur ,safe from the cold.
(Any one can join. if I'm correct this is a test run type thing for the pup system!)

While out patrolling, Sirhaan came across a trail of moved snow and began following it, unknowing of who left it. After a few minutes she found a black wolf she knew to be named as Shadow. As she came closer she noticed Shadow was asleep, wondering why she gently nudged her, “Hey, what are you doing out here?”

"Hmm?" Shadow lifted her head, instantly knowing this was a FrostBite clan member. "I found a puppy, and I guess I fell asleep!" Shadow replied. "And not to be rude, but I don't know many wolves in this pack yet, so what's your name?" Shadow said trying to recall meeting this wolf.

“Oh dear, does the pup need help?” Sirhaan smiled, “It’s alright, my name is Sirhaan and I’m the head ranger, I believe you’re Shadow, right?”

"That's right." Shadow replied. "Sorry about not knowing your name, but from what I can tell, this pup is a lot stronger then it's siblings." Shadow said. "If I was faster to hear them then I could have saved his siblings." Shadow said hanging her head low. She stood up and grabbed the pup. "But I need to take him to came for further examination." Shadow replied. "If you can 'escort' me there, that would be nice." Shadow said.

“Hm, I know Ursus is good with healing magics, I’ll take you there.” Sirhaan leads her up towards a creek that leads to Ursus’ den.

Shadow follows Sirhaan carefully thoughtfully thinking of names for the puppy. 'Drake? Stream?' She thought to herself. Suddenly a name popped into her head. 'Survivors Hope!' She thought 'or Survivor.' She thought. 'Survivor for sure!' Shadow thought happily.

“Survivor, not a bad name. Did you bury the pups siblings?” She asked, continuing to lead her forward.

She nods and leads her for a few more minutes until they reach his den. As they approach it Sirhaan calls for Ursüs ᚦᛖ᛫ᛖᛏᛖᚱᚾᚨᛚ |

Shadow calmly waited next to Sirhaan as they waited for Ursus to come out. 'If you live to be a month old then I'll name you Survivor!' Shadow thought proudly.

Ursus doesn't spend a ton of time in his den, so he wasn't there when they came upon it. Rather, he was out near the lake. Upon Hearing him being summoned he howls in return and takes off in a run towards the howl. "Near my den? What is going on now I wonder..." Upon reaching the area he first spots Sirhaan whom he nods to, but then he sees Shadow with a pup. "And who do we have here... Hello little one." Ursus gently nuzzles the pup as he sends healing magics over its tiny body, healing most potential aliments but can't reduce issues from any undernourishment (if applicable) or dehydration. "Where did you all find them?"

"He had two siblings, already dead." Shadow replied. "I found him and his siblings near a tree trunk, covered in snow." Shadow said. "Can I keep him?" Shadow said curling her fluffyish tail around the puppy.

“That is rather odd... and tragic.” Searing pain courses through Ursüs’s mind as he remembers seeing two dead pups, one white and one black. Still born and premature. Ursüs snaps out of it and is very confused by this potential memory that conflicts with what he knows. After taking a deep breath he nods to Shadow. “Yes, please keep him. Let him live. No pup deserves to die.”

Shadow noticed the type of trance the Ursus had been in for a split second but ignored it. "Thank you" she said smiling, something Ursus might not see her do very often. She picked up the puppy and walked toward the den area again.
(Also I bought Shadow a medium den.)
