In the world of Frosa, there's normal magic that is cast from within your self and then there's ritual magic. A ritual involves one or more and always includes material components that are consumed in the process. The process is always taxing, consumes much magic and can even kill the caster if they weren't powerful enough. Death or a comatose state can be avoided by having many casters involved. Crystals are a common material that is used in rituals, and rituals are typically much more powerful than the magic that stems from an individual. Resurrection. It is done via ritual magic that consumes one large crystal. No single caster is powerful enough to perform the ritual alone and survive. It requires a team that's total score is 30 magic points or more to have no adverse effects on the casters. A caster with a score of 10 can sacrifice their life in order to complete the ritual successfully, any score lower will die and the ritual will also fail.
