[Note: This takes place AFTER the thread The Moons Arc. It's to kill time between other threads so please only join if you will be VERY active, otherwise you may get left behind.]
The joyous chirps of song birds fill the morning air, their waves crashing against the den, barely spilling into it's space. Ursus awakens with a yawn and smiles down at Aelin whom can't be stirred from her sleep by such things. "Today is the day, though." Ursus mumbles to himself as he gently nuzzles Aelin's neck. Wake up dear. The day is upon us and we must go back to my first home.

Aelin lifts her head up groggily, opening up her brown eyes. "Good morning" she says sleepily. "Are you ready for today?" the snowy female asks softly, concern lacing her voice. She then promptly does a sort of yawn/sneeze, leaving her a tad stunned.

*sighs* I am, as ready as I can be I suppose. After stifling another large yawn with his paw he rises and licks the top of her head. How about you? I'd imagine this could have you feeling a bit... On edge too.

She shrugs, "I'm fine. This day is about you and your family. The only thing im for sure not looking forward to is being a gimp again." She finished with a chuckle before rising to her feet, stretching her long limbs.

Who have a long history of extreme and unbridled violence whom killed my last mate. And actually thats not something you have to worry about! Remember how I still had the horns when we first met? I wasn't born with those. I too had a lame leg before coming here because it was mauled by a bear but it remained healthy when I passed back over as well so you will be fine! My only tip is don't expend all your magic. Keep just a little on reserve or you won't get it back until you cross back over to Frosa. And... Stay close please, and don't trust anyone, especially my mother Hel.

Aelin stands there wide eyed, absorbing all the information that was just given to her. She lowers her ears and nuzzles him. "Hey we're both gonna be ok, alright? And don't worry, do I ever really go far?" She questions with a smirk, attempting to lighten the quickly heavying mood. "And that's a good thing about my leg. At least now I can keep up."

Ursus nuzzles her back and nods. Heh, that's a fair point. And you do more than keep up, more like totally outpace me. We can always bail if we need to as well. It's not the easiest thing to do but it's feasible enough. Would you care to get some food before we head out?

*Hearty chuckling* I'm always hungry you know. Also... I have a plan. We grab some easy food, snag the grizzly I found not far from here and take it with us. That will appease their normal customs at least. Are you ok with this plan?

Ursus's bulky form stagger's past the hide flap and into the new days light. Does trout sound alright? Sure we could always eat dried meat but it's not the same.

Aelin nods as she walked toward the water. "Anything sounds alright with me." she says with a soft wag of her white tail. She reaches the water's edge before bending down to the bank, watching for fish under the surface.

Ursus sits a ways back in order to give Aelin some space while she fishes. He simply watches with a faint smile before looking off to where the bear is and what may be the best way to get it towards his birth packs den area.

A few moments later, Aelin drops two medium sized fish before Ursus. "Here you go!" she says before following his gaze. "Are you sure you're doing alright?" she asked, quite clearly worried.

Ursus pads over with a smile and nods. Absolutely! I was trying to figure out the best way to move the bear. See, I can either do shock and awe and enter the area carrying the grizzly in my enlarged form, oorrr I can gut it and set it on a forked branch and try to drag it with us. The advantage to the later option would be keeping that as a surprise. Though I'm sure magic would be a surprise to them anyways. Which I'll not be telling them about. Nor the lands of Frosa just yet. I'll tell them we are North of their lands. Ursus nuzzles her neck. I'm fine, really. Thank you for caring but don't let it eat at you. After pulling away Ursus happily munches on the trout his mate was kind enough to catch for him.
