Ryka

Ryka had been wondering around lost for days. He was hungry and all alone, had been lucky enough to find carcasses of dead deer or rabbits as he's been wandering. This place is not safe for pups to just be roaming, there are many predators in the area and Ryka is completely defenseless against them. Ryka did manage to find a hollow log that will keep him safe but who knows for how long. Ryka had taken a nap because of how exhausted he was but woke up when he heard leaves crunching from some walking around nearby. The crunching got closer and closer to the log and now the pup was scared to the point he started simpering. The noises from the pup only made the creature come closer and now he can see the shadow of what was standing right outside. Before he knew it the creature peered inside the opening of the log. What he seen was another wolf, they stared at each other for a moment before the mysterious wolf spoke "Hello there, what are you doing out here alone, where's your pack?" Asked the wolf but Ryka didn't answer, he merely took interest in this wolf and came out the log. Ryka began sniffing all around him but as soon as the wolf moved, Ryka retreated back into the log. "Hey its OK, I won't hurt you" said the wolf as he motioned for him to come back out of hiding. The wolf inspected the pup to see what kind of wolf he was "Maned wolf, haven't see one of these in a while, where's your mom, anybody, its dangerous out here?" The pup only responded by tilting his head sideways "So you can't talk, you've should have learned some by now, your not that young" Again he got no response from the pup. The wolf sighed "Well it would kinda be irresponsible for me to leave you here, so I'll take you with me." The wolf picked Ryka up with his mouth and started he short journey home. The land went from dirt and grass to snow and ice and it got colder. The wolf had put Ryka down for a moment and the pup didn't move, he didn't know what he was sitting in but it was just cold but he started to love it. He began playing in the snow and eating it. The wolf watched him and chuckled "Wish I always felt that way about snow but enough we're almost there" he walks over to the pup and picks him up and continues on his way home. It was dark when they arrive and everyone was most likely sleep at this point. He walks over to his bed and puts the puppy on it "You sleep here tonight, you'll meet our leader Ursüs tomorrow. He the walks over to a corner and brings some leftovers over for the pup to eat. Ryka eats the remains and plays with the bone afterwards. Ryka started to feel tired and went to lay down in the soft bed with the wolf. Before Ryka could drift off to sleep the wolf spoke " My name is Fennex by the way" before to drifted off to sleep.
