History: The Ice Wolves were created by the chimera in the western kingdom known as “The One King.” through selective breeding and a little bit of magic. With the selective breeding, the ice wolves were bred with only the biggest wolves, giving the males their huge size. They mutated to have longer tails and protruding fangs that give them an almost saber-tooth like smile. Males were trained in combat and made up most of the guard numbers. The females, trained in stealth, were used as spy agents and were sent to other kingdoms and infiltrate packs. After being hunted and exiled, there are very few purebreds left.
Saber Fangs: The males fangs are more prominent than the females. In purebred ice wolves, the fang in a male come in at 2 years of age. In the females, it becomes more prominent at 3 years. This made it easier for the females to guise as arctic wolves and gain trust in the other packs as they wouldn’t be able to tell the difference without the fangs.
Halflings: What they called those who are not full Ice wolf. They do not get saber fangs. May get the long tail.
Pelts: a Thick double coat that varies in colors and patterns. They are thick and wavy most of the time at the neck, slightly resembling a mane; tying the ice wolves in with The King. There is fur between the paws.
Sizes: Male (red): 5-6ft at shoulder Female (green): 4f Normal Arctic wolf (white): 3-4ft
