She stares at this dog. What does he know? Her lips curl up in anger. She probably has 3 years on him. "Then as an advise to you, dont get bit." She lowly states. The last sentence echoed in her head.
"It would take 4 hours of uninterrupted travel. Not including stopping for food, or encountering....others." she tells Kreig. "It would be too troublesome to go back to my den and travel out. We might need to find a shelter on the way there."

Kreig gives the stranger a side ways glance before returning his full attention to Irina. "I see... Then scavenging is what we shall do since we've little choice in the matter. Do you forsee us encountering, as you put it, others?" Kreig silently thinks to himself if she is implying that they will meet more of the infected.

She shakes her head. "It depends on her answer. Star says she was able to see the ruined city. Were they far away, StarBurst? Or were they generally closer?" she asks the young female.

"Then we shall check the South district first. That's the furthest from the ruined city. The last time I visited there, there weren't many infected. Most were trapped and left to rot like the one we just encountered." She shook her head at how foolish she had been to not see the warning signs in that building. "Its more strays there than two-legs, though they keep to themselves mostly. Hopefully, it hadn't changed much in the years I haven't been there."

Kreig tilts his head as he thinks and is silent for a moment. South District? The hell is that? Not sure I've ever been there. Kreig says to himself, not aloud. "Irina, what can you tell me about this place? Let's pretend I have no idea what you're talking about."

She gives him a look that says, "werent you a pet? You should know."
"Districts are what the two-legs call these residentials. Where my den is, and all the two-leg dens." She makes a crude drawing of a circle in a patch of dirt by her, and nears the very left side she draws an X. "There are two more similar to ours. South district, and East." She draws two more X's in their respective spots. "Then downtown. Where we were." She draws an oval near their location. "The winged lady's house." A square is drawn between all three x's.
"And then there's the place we should never go near, unless absolutely necessary." The scratches at the floor, leaving 3 claw marks by the east and south X's.

Kreig nods along as he absorbs the new information, but as Irina draws out and describes the ground zero site, the Kreigs hackles raise and he mutters just above a whisper, despite himself "I can attest to that." before clearing his throat and carrying on as per his norm. "So what is a winged lady? Is it a giant bird?" He inquires seriously and loudly.
