Meeting Bolt

Out from the lonesome Peak of Pestilence, Ursus comes. Hulking form pushing through the snow, seemingly at one with the rugged environment. As the heavens above explode, Ursus grins and chuckles to himself "Just another day in the frozen north lands." Heading his way down the decline towards the Frost Fallen Meadows in search of prey, a foreign scent grabs him. "Mmmm... And who may this be?..." He mutter's to himself under his breath as he heads on in search of the stranger.

Ursus turns his nose skywards as he nosily sniffs. As he breaks through the under brush, one of his dimly glowing blue eyes suddenly catches hints of a foreign shape and flicks over to it. With a deep rumbling voice Ursus calls out to it. "If a stranger should happen to be near, it would be best for you to show yourself rather than I find you, thinking you are of ill intent. Please step out, slowly, and state why you are so far into my lands."

Ursus spots the lighter colored wolf step into the fire light and gives them a nod, his expression softening ever so slightly. "I am known as Ursus. You've come to my pack's lands unannounced, uninvited, and as far as I know utterly unknown to the rest of us. I ask that you please share why you come so near the homes of those I keep safe." Still sounding quite firm, but loosing a touch of the aggressive gravel his voice held but just a moment ago.

Ursus squints at the stranger in distrust for a moment but piety wins over. With a heavy sigh and a head jerk, Ursus gestures for them to follow him. "Alright a few things though. First is the most important one. Know that you're being watched until you gain our trust though I must admit I don't believe you are here to cause trouble. I also would like to know what we should call you. Last but not least, how did you know a pack was alllll the way out here? No one comes out here any longer."

Ursus "hhmmm's" to himself as Bolt indicates he has spied on them, and without being noticed. "I find the notion of you not being found earlier to be puzzling but no matter. Bolt it is, then. Where will you be going? You indicated you lack a home or anyone to go to. I must assume you likely haven't been around other wolves much. Why not stay a while? There's room to spare."

Ursus smiles back and nods "Alright then it's settled! Come, we will get you introduced to the rest, a place to sleep and some food."
