He hums. "trouble follows many. Thank you for the invitation" he takes a small half-step to Ursus. "Do you venture here often? I know of a great place where we can get to know each other more...intimately?" his tail curls as he asks the question with deeper meaning behind it.

Ursus doesn't back away but he does nuzzle Aelin and lick her ear. "Hold that thought for just a moment, I'd like you to meet my mate, Aelin. She is my advisor as well." When Ursus turns back to Ezrah he gives him an apologetic look. "With that said, I wouldn't mind for everyone to become friends."

His eyes widen as he embarrassed backs away and stammers an apology. "A-apologies, friends. I...i didn't know. I'm sorry!" he bows to Aelin, presenting his neck. A behavior of being an omega in his previous back had instilled in him. "Forgive me. I do not wish to make either of you uncomfortable, nor trespass on your mate."

Ursus shakes his head no. "You're alright you're alright no offense taken as no insult was offered. You didn't know and couldn't have. Mai hasn't even met Aelin yet which is part of why we are here, for the new to meet the old so to speak. And... Please don't feel you must show your neck to any of us. This is not our way. You must take care of yourself, Ezrah. Do not let others push you around."

Aelin held back her giggles at the exchange before replying to Ezrah. “Yes no offense taken, you didn’t know.” She says with a smile, returning her mates nuzzle with a soft wag of her tail, calmer now that they had stopped treking through the sand.

Ursus intertwines his tail with his mate as he addresses Fennex. "No no human food here bud. Just sayin' hello to Ezrah, a new friend as they are a friend to my old friend Mai, whom is the Alpha of these lands. You'll be meeting her shortly."

He raises his head and nods a thank you to both wolves, and is taken aback by the sudden interruption of the new wolf who calls himself Phoenix. He tilts his head slightly to the left as he is about to speak when he then saw the cub. He stands straight as he sees the little one and the others can practically see the heart eyes as his tail furiously wags. He bows in a playful position as he greets the little one. "Hello there, little Ryka~!"

His eye looks up to the father as he once again shakes the endless sand of his fur. "Still, bringing one so young into the desert is ill-advised," he said with an undertone of anger but diverts his attention away from the group and focuses on the sand a few feet away, thinking he saw something moves. After a breath, it was proven to just be a shadow. He calms with a sigh. "Mai, your lovely friends have arrived."

Mai was staring at the swirling sands on the planes below, wide-eyed with her legs spread wide, ready to run. She wasn't paying attention to any of the newcomers, she was barely aware of their existence.

Ursus looks around Ezrah to Mai, observing her odd and out of character (in his eyes) behaviors. "Mai?..." Ursus's voice trails off, with him being concerned. Alein. Pardon me for a moment. Something is... Wrong, with Mai. With that Ursus reluctantly releases his mates tail and slowly approaches Mai, making no sudden movements in hopes it lessens the chance of disturbing her. Upon getting a little closer, Ursus looks to the swirling sands which remind him of light and cold snow in the breeze and back to his old friend. Mai, I have come. What is it that troubles you? Seeing you this way is odd, to say the least.
