As MoonSong followed the trail she became more unsettled. Her loud messy steps turned silent as she changed to a stealthy stalk. Then she saw Felan over Sirhaan and all stealth was lost as she charged and tackled him off her with a snarl, standing over Sirhaan.

Ursus gives a quick nod "Alright Neo, please come with me and try to help get Felan to use it if you would." and starts trotting after the trail, suspicion and unease growing with each step and finally exploding upon hearing the snarl of MoonSong not too far off. With a quick "SHIT!" Ursus barrels through the woods, soon finding MoonSong standing over Sirhaan and Felan in opposition. It's easy to put two and two together here, clearly the suspicions were right, Felan isn't to be trusted. Ursus's teeth grind audibly as he approaches and gives MoonSong. "Felan... Just what is it you think you are doing? I can only assume from MoonSong's current state you have done something unsavory."

Neo nods and quickly follows him, leaving Artemis alone. As they get there Felan sighs in defeat, “Fine! You caught me. Call it what you want, but I am not insane.” Felan stares, unmoving in front of them. Sirhaan shakes her way back up from the snow and stares betrayed at her brother. Felan responds to this with a silent growl.

Moonsong snarls back snapping her jaws. She never liked him anyway. All she knows is he attacked her packmate. Therefore theres a consequence. She looks to Sirhaan though, because he is her brother. She is unsure if what to do now. But she wont let him leave.

With a deep breath, Ursüs puts on a mask of calm though he’d rather rage. “Neo... would you be so kind as to offer Felan the crystal? I would rather this all be disarmed peacefully. Once settled, that’s when we can discuss what is what. Insane or not Felan one thing is sure, you’re not calm. We need calm right now. That crystal Neo has helps.”

Sirhaan stares at Felan and turns to Moon, meeting her gaze before looking back at Felan. Neomari nods, “Felan, please. You were never one for violence.” She slides the crystal over through the snow and it lands by Felans front paws. He sighs and looks up at them, “I’m sorry, this isn’t what I wanted.”

Ursus gestures with his head towards the crystal and says softly "If this anger isn't what you want, now is the time to quench it before it burns out of control. Please let Neomari help, and give her another chance at a happy life with you. Your anger will only destroy these things. This is round 2, we can make it right this time."

Felan hesitates before grabbing the crystal with his paw, with a sigh he looks at each of them. Sirhaan seems to calm down a little and stands at her full height, while Neo smiles and gently sways her tail. “I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me.” He looks to the ground

Her growling ceased but the anger was still there on her face as narrow eyes carefully watch Felan. Failure. What kind of guardian are you? Disgrace. The voices harshly criticized her in ghostly whispers. She clenches her eyes shut with a silent growl on her lips. Her subtle movement causes the gen around her neck to give a small ring, and the voices leave.

“Thank you, Felan.” Ursüs states with a sigh of relief. Maybe this won’t be so bad after all. “Sirhaan. Felan. How much do the two of you really know about these... Special capacities you all have? To me it seems they increase the likelihood of emotional outbursts. Anger especially. If we made special dens here full of those crystals but larger and more powerful, would you use it? Even if I’m wrong and this isn’t what’s going on, it’ll still help you feel better.” Ursüs’s faze flicks down to MoonSong as he was about to silently thank her. Seeing she’s struggling to a degree he elects not to risk making it worse and ponders if she needs aid too.

Sirhaan shrugs and nods to Felan who takes a few moments to think, “Not usually. Unless you use too much of the enchantment. This was my fault, not the powers I have. I thought getting rid of Sirhaan would hurt Artemis more than death and that it would make me feel better about the sister I never had.” Sirhaan looks at him sadly, having lost most of her words.

A bit taken aback and at a temporary loss for words, Ursus's gaze shifts into the snow before him as he collects his thoughts. And it crosses his mind. Would they even know if they are being corrupted? Perhaps it would be best to have Neo talk with him about it. "Is there any way to determine if corruption is setting in before physical signs begin to show? What if we come across a stranger with that issue? It'd be good to know how to solve these kinds of thing's going forward. I think we may be wise to do some research and experimentation's for the well being of everyone." Ursus intentionally keeps it vague, trying to prevent any lacing's of accusations. Today has been hard enough.

Felan shakes his head, “Not that I know of. Physical alterations happen whenever it is used, insane or not.” He motions towards Sirhaan, who now has two flopped down ears from constructing her gift. “She’s not entirely sane but she’s far from crazy, yet she changed a little.”

"Preventative measures it is then. Many of us have been or are currently under great stress... So, even if some one is sane it would still be good for their health. I think this is enough drama for one night though, wouldn't you all agree? Felan, why don't you and Neo spend some time together, catch up and relax. You may take one of the spare dens if you wish, that way you don't have to travel. Besides, come morning we may have more to discuss. I can't afford to be ignorant to the nature of the powers you all hold any longer."
