Ursüs can’t help but laugh. “How very different this place is in comparison to where you’re from has become even more apparent. We’d have to travel far for bull frogs or green frogs, the rest are slightly toxic. Raccoons can have rabbies too... and I’ve never eaten a squirrel, since they are so tiny. There are both of those here, as well as rabbits, elk and deer which I know are good to eat.”
