"A sky filled with stars in my opinion is the best gift" is all a yearling can remember from his old pack. He takes one look at the night sky and is fascinated.

Cascade layed in the snow his wings spread around him as a makeshift blanket. The night sky was light up with stars and the moon. The pale snow glowed a little and the small makeshift cave was a good hiding place for cascade to stay whenever he felt like staying away from the pack. The cave entrance was buried under the snow. Despite his large frame, cascade could get in the cave easily.

He jumped as Jackie's voice sounded suddenly. He stayed silent hoping she would leave. the moon put a dim glow in the cave.

Jackie shook her head lightly and walked next to the cave. She then reared onto her hind legs and fell back into the snow creating a soft little dip. She looked up and tilted her head at the stars as she then pawed the sky slightly while her tail gave a soft wag

he sighed and rolled onto his paws. He got into a pouncing form that was similar to a cats. He leaped up and tried flapping his wings. He felt himself stay in the air for a moment, the ground came quick and the cold snow cushioned his fall. he sighed and then walked outside of the cave and circled Jackie. "Its so pretty!" Cascade said to her tilting his head up to the stars. He looked at his wings again, a faint memory of another wolf showed in his mind. 'I wish I knew my father and siblings.' he though shaking his fur out.

Cascade shrugged "a pup who had never had a care till he meet his new pack might of." He replied his wings wrapping around him again. "It's so cold!" he said standing and shaking himself. After shaking himself he looked at the background behind Jackie, his light grey eyes seemed to look on endlessly but a very very faint shape far away from him stood. He sighed and flopped into the snow again. (Also he is looking at a mountain)

Jackie wiggles around slightly and twitched her ears from the falling snow. She gave out a sigh of relief as she seemed calmer then normal

He flinched as a pain in his paw pulsed. (he got cut when working on his hunting skills.) He ignored and put his muzzle Into the large, soft feathers on his wings. The Moon gave enough light to see a glare in the snow. He listened for the calls of other animals, the only sound was the sound of the wind.
