Jackie’s ears twitched as she laid in the snow at their main base. Suddenly a loud crack rang through the forest. Like a tree breaking next to you after being hit with lightning. Jackie lifted her head and narrowed her eyes. A ring of powerful wind came crashing over everything pushing Jackie back in the snow and breaking various trees. She stood and looked towards where it came from as she could smell death and feel heat more then usual.

A booming sound made the yearling's head snap up towards the sound. he raced toward it and stopped by Jackie And looking at the knocked over trees. He gulped and looked at Jackie. "what... was tha…. He trailed off as he looked at his surroundings.

“I hope it’s not what I think it is” Jackie mumbled softly as she stood to her full height looking towards the site. A warm breeze with the thick scent of blood came after the wind. A deep almost demonic howl came after along with screams of animals. Jackie’s ears dropped as she knew that sound all to well.

“The magic has failed. We still had 7 Years” Jackie growled as the fur on her back raised. “He is not something you want to tangle with, he goes by Riot and don’t tell him anything if you come across him” she said shifting her ears.

Ursus looks to the skys as the boom rings out, before going out to check on his pack. Upon approaching Jackie he notices her posture. "Jackie, what's going on? You seem to know whats up."

Jackie paused listening and trying to find the right words “Well there’s this huge area that’s covered by magic that like 1000 animals came together to make and trapped almost all the demons along with some normal animals and that’s where us demon half animals come from. Demons can’t get out only in and you don’t see it from outside. Us halflings can walk out and we were sent by our parents to well help them. I was stupid and kinda went off track a lot so my dad had another halfling take me to a pack blah blah blah this thing was going to be up for 7 more years. If I had to take a guess...Riot told everyone to help him break the basically cage and then ate their souls after they all joined their magic. So on short there’s a horrible beast of a wolf looking for me right now” she quickly said this as she crouched. “Why? Out of his kids I’m the only one who’s got the demon in me so he need by help to basically kill everyone and raise demons from below” Jackie gave a twisted smile with a sigh. She lifted her head as she saw a deer dart by. “I would also recommend running” she mumbled as the ground began to lightly shake as a stampede was headed towards them.

Ursus gives her a quick nod "Alright everyone you heard her, back to the dens where its safe! Move out!" Ursus would wait for everyone to leave and to take up the back in his enlarged form.
