Bay shakes her fawn colored head. "No, I... travel a lot.." she leaves it at that before glancing to the meal, stomach growling. However, she resists, wanting to help the male out first. "wait here" the 3 legged dame says softly before padding off into the woods. She emerges a few moments later with a wad of cobwebs and a bundle of winter berries in her jaws. She sets the cobwebs down before crushing the berries. She puts the new paste on the male's wounds to stop infection before wrapping them in the thick cobweb in order to bind them and stop the bleeding. she then steps back with a sigh. "All set" she says while double checking her work.

Ursus gives her a curious look, with his smile growing and becoming more genuine. "I... Am not sure what to say, Bay. For some one whom travels a lot, is starved, and doesn't know me you have sure shown much compassion, and I thank you for it. You have more than earned that meat." Ursus scans the area real quick before continuing. "Are you in search of a new home? Either way, it sounds like you havent a safe place to rest. You're welcome to tag along, it'd be much safer than being alone in these parts. I'll even carry what you can't eat right now back so you may continue to eat on it later."

The fae shrugged. "It's what I would've wanted someone to do for me" She then looks to the carcass before turning back to the male. "You're sure?"

Jackie’s head spon around as her ears perked. Her tongue lashed out grabbing an elf and causing it to appear. She squeezed till it popped with a charming (to Jackie) scream. She drove her tongue back into her mouth and shifted her paws.

She glanced from the male to the fae, tilting her head curiously. Bay then nodded, sniffing the carcass before digging in. She ate her fill, which took several minutes, before lifting her head (maw now slightly bloody) and sitting down. "Thank you."

With loud pops and cracks, the forum of Ursus jerks and shakes as his form shrinks down from what was more akin to a Kodiak bear to simply a very large grey wolf, though curiously enough the horns, teeth and paws remain unusual. After his form settles down he takes a deep breath and winces before nodding back. "Not a problem. So how about it? Would you care to join us?"

Ursus "Hmm's" to himself for a moment but doesn't press the topic of her suspicion, and instead nods and gathers up as much meat in his maw as his thick neck can bare and turns and gestures for her to follow.

Jackie waits for them to go past and curls her tongue around what’s left of a large hunk of meat. She pulled it into her jaws best she could but let her tongue support it while they walked.

Ursus occasionally stops and glances around before continuing their journey. He leads them up a steep incline before heading them back down through the trees. As the wind gusts, fresh water could be smelled well before they see it. Upon arrival one would see many an ancient tree standing around a lake, and within the roots of many of these are dens. Ursus saunters over to one and places the meat in it, before turning to Bay. "It is here you may stay, should you wish to do so. The water is palatable so please drink up, without fearing illness."

Ursus clears his throat as he stares off into the water "Bay, do you mind me asking how it is you know medicine? That doesn't seem to be a common thing, anywhere I've been and I have done more than my fair share of traveling."
