After a few moments of silence, Ursus turns back to Bay, and speaks his question again, carefully enunciating and making a note that she is 100% deaf.

This time, the fae did catch the male's question. She hesitated before answering. "When I was a pup.... I spent a lot of time around the humans in one of their medical establishments. Since then I've sort of... perfected the craft." She nods as she spoke the last part, thinking of her magic.

"Ah, interesting! Do you know much of them then? I only know a few medical tricks that have been passed down in my family for generations. Such as this." He walks over and breaks a twig and scoops pine sap off the tree and sets it on some moss near by and turns back to Bay. "This Pine Sap is great, it disinfects but stings, and can seal a wound up, cover blistered paws, and more!"

A single tear falls from the eye of Ursus as he steps over and lays near her, before turning his head away and lays there silently. After a few deep breaths he turns his head over towards Bay and sets it upon a paw. "You've been alone then, for a long time? I'm... Sorry. I hope that you will stay around here then, so that maybe you'll see what its like to have others around whom care."

Jackie’s ears instantly fell back at the thought of family stabbing it’s way into her mind. She shook her head roughly as if it would stop it somehow. As Jackie’s breaths deepened she went into a flashback. Her front paws spread as she sat panting and looking down. Flashbacks didn’t stop for her until they were over. Being part demon had its ups and downs obviously.

Bay lowered her ears at the other fae’s actions. “Is she alright?” She asked the male, concern lacing her voice.

Ursus watches as both Jackie and Bay react poorly to the topic and makes a note to talk to both of them, alone, at some point once they trust him more. For the mean time, he enlarges his form and drags over some dry wood and lights it with a spark. The fire now casts a warm glow and welcome bit of extra warmth in the area as he lays between the two, trying to comfort them just by being present as best he can.

Ursus smiles softly as Bay falls asleep, happy that she is getting some much needed rest, before casting his watchful eyes back out into the world, and onto Jackie.

Finally Jackie’s paws slid forwards ending in her laying down. She shook her head lightly and looked off to the side as she moved her head onto her paws. She seemed to search the forest as if something was going to be there and help her. Something she wanted back.
