Aelin thought for a moment before replying, “I don’t believe so... but then again i could be wrong. I didn’t stay for too long. I was the omega. I... got in the way a lot I suppose.” She says softly, lowering her ears a bit.

Aelin shrugs, not particularly believing the male, but seeing it smart not to argue. “Thanks for the meal...” she says, changing the subject, before beginning to pad off in the direction she came

Ursüs quickly gets up and bolts, blocking her path via sitting down, holding a paw up and shaking his head no. “Please don’t go any further. I don’t know what you seek but all you will find out here is death. These wolves, though they were my family showed my mate and pups no mercy. They simply decided they didn’t like them and murdered them.”

Aelin lowered her ears, stepping back. “Fine, where do you suppose I go then?” She said with a hint of attitude in her voice, slightly exhausted, before changing her mind. “And i can handle myself, thank you.” She lies, attempting to move past him.

"Did you move north because you prefer snow? I have a place that is snow all year around and is full of friendly faces, where you may rest easy." Ursus doesn't restrain her or show hostility or annoyance but he steps back so that she is still seeing his face as he speaks.

The fae backs up, sighing. “No, well not entirely. I love snow, it reminds me of home. But there were other reasons I had to leave.” She lowers her ears, sitting.

She eyes the male carefully before shaking her head. “Nothing. And as for the place you speak of, i would most likely slow you down as well.” As she says this, she motions to her gimp back leg.

Aelin tilted her head slightly as he spoke, mulling it over in her head. A few moments after he had finished, she nodded. “Alright. But don’t say I didn’t warn you.” She eyes the male sizing him up, already expecting many more arguments to come. “So where is this wonderful homely place? There’s nothing around here but snow and trees.” As she said this, she sniffed the air for this male’s pack, coming up empty.

"No worries, you made it clear how you feel, follow me please... And try not to freak out if this is new to you." When Ursus is done speaking he heads back to the lake. Upon arrival Ursus takes a claw and draws a series of runs, then dips his paws in and does a tearing motion, as if splitting the shallow of the water in two. This causes a rippling wave as red as the sunrise to rise up and form a hole. Through the other side though tinted red one can see snow, trees, and a large placid body of water. He turns back to the stranger "Well, shall we?" Before he steps in, and he waits for her on the other side, facing her and keeping a paw through the portal.

Aelin eyes him suspiciously, very curious as to what the thing was and where it lead. She tentatively padded forward, looking back to the calm area around her before stepping into the unknown.

As soon as Aelin passes through, Ursus pulls his paw through and the portal snaps closed with a flash. Ursus faces her with a broad smile "Welcome to your new home. To your right are some den's that still need to be uncovered, but if you keep moving straight you will find an open one that has my scent. You are welcome to keep it for as long as you like. The water here is clean and fine to drink. Any questions?"

Aelin looks around, studying the area, and she takes a step toward the den. However, after taking the step, she soon realizes something wasn’t right. She felt no pain in her back leg. Puzzled, she sat and lifted the limb to study it. To her confusion, It appeared good as new. She then looked up to the male with wide eyes. “Where the hell am i?”
