(This is a thread for the conversation Aelin and Ursus were gunna have about dreams from the thread Fennex had. Other's can join in where it makes sense of course  ) Aelin, I just saw Fennex, he is how I know of the dreams. He didn't disclose what he saw but he was disturbed. Unsettled. Upset. He wants everyone to be happy. I am guessing this would imply you had a nasty dream too. |

Aelin turns her gaze back out to the lake, finding it easier to avoid eye contact. “Something like that.” She said softly. “Did you have a bad... dream?” She asks as a poor attempt to direct the conversation away from her.

Ursus shifts his gaze over the water as well, so as to not stare at her. No. I have yet to sleep. When I do sleep, some times I recall the good things, other times it's the hard things I don't want to see that there's lessons to learn from. How about you?

Some things are not to be easily forgotten, especially if we still have to learn from it. I'm not you so I can't say for sure of course. I am sorry you are plagued though. I believe I've told you about some of my past experiences that I dream about, like loosing my mate and pups. I'll likely never forget that. Nor should I. But as time passes and I work towards preventing further evils, it doesn't weigh on me quite as much. It's hard to explain.

She lowers her ears at the question. “No, I don’t. I wasn’t strong enough.” She says ruefully, recalling the loss of her own mate and pups. “Hopefully I am now though.” She says with a solemn face.

You are by default. Your back leg has been healed, you have tremendous magical capacities and friends who would back you, making you stronger. I am not sure what you have faced in the past, but you are more than you were and I dare say than you ever have been. I know I for sure rely on you for who you are and your capacities.

Sirhaan had been awake for a while since Fennex had changed her dream, still laying down she tried to read Aelin and Ursus’ minds as she had discovered she could do so. Unfortunately she was unable to and only got muffled sounds. She grumbled and put her ears down.

I understand why you'd be inclined to follow that line of thought but you'll only torture yourself with that you know, because it's not possible. All we can do is try to make a better tomorrow with who we are right now. Looking back and just hurting isn't healthy and makes you weak. It takes real courage to give life another try, so to speak, and once you do it steadily becomes easier and easier as you grow stronger and stronger. Though it may not seem it at first. And that's when you can lean on your friends. Especially since no one expect's anyone to be strong all the time, we all need a break every now and then.
(To Sirhaan only) You who tries to peer into my mind. You'd have a better chance getting what you want by just asking. If you are a stranger here in my lands you'd best show yourself and state your intentions or get lost before I find you.
