I hope this place will be relaxing for you. I know you've probably had a rather... Tense, potentially emotionally taxing day. I promise to try to always temper things for you so it's not as taxing. I want you to be happy. Ursus smiles faintly as he looks back but gives her a quick look over, a bit concerned. They hadn't been mates for long after all and today was pretty... Interesting so far.
As Ursüs finishes his scentence, the two break out of the stony walls of the pass and find their selves in a ridge. A ridge that contains the runoffs that feed the waterfall that bursts over the mountainside, cascading down into a river in which it carved centuries ago. Dappled light casts a warm gold through the red maple leaves, blending and intermingled with the soft yellows of the birch and aspen trees. A wall of mist blows upstream of the waterfall, catching the suns rays just over the bridge formed of an ancient toppled oak. There stands a rainbow within the couples grasp.

Ursus brightens at Aelin's reaction and smiles warmly. You know... We can come visit this spot regularly if that would please you. Also stay right there and close your eyes just a moment dear.
He waits for her to close her eyes before running off to the side and pulling away a few rocks from the hill side. Out he pulls several lengths of meat, the back straps of an Elk. But not just back straps. They have been lacerated and soaked with honey, making the already tender and juicy meat even more so and granting it a pleasing sweet flavor that is a touch less game-y.

As she cracks an eye open, she immediately looks down at the meat before her and gives a chuckle. “Where’d you find all this?” She asks, brow raised comically

Ursus smirks and shakes his head. Ah ah ah~ I can't tell you ALL the secrets as to how I do things just yet. Then I wouldn't be very interesting anymore! All I'll say is that I like to plan ahead. He then proceeds to wink and gestures towards the meat. I hope you like it, and that you're hungry.

Aelin smiles and rolls her eyes at him before sniffing the food and beginning to eat. After she has a fair portion, she backs up a step and nods to him. “You’re turn!” She says with a wag of her fluffy tail.

Ursus smirks more as he spots honey on Aelin's muzzle. You missed a spot. He then licks the honey free from her fur, before scarfing down a large bit of the meat that was left.

Ursus grins brightly and he licks his mate back and leads her over to the oaken bridge. Heart filled past the brim with happiness and a sense of fulfillment, he snuggles up behind Aelin after he sits, resting his chest on her back and his head ontop of hers as he looks out into the meadows far down below. And this, this must be what home really feels like.
