Ursus says as he heads off to his mate, whom he sets his head upon once he reaches her. Love, I hope you will listen for a moment. You may either stay here and wait for us to return or come with us. We have a ways to go yet. There's something in an ancient cave we must go see for answers. I'm not sure what is going on but it has Mai uneasy.

Aelins ears lower at the news, however she rises to her feet, giving her mate a nuzzle. “Oh like I’m gonna let your semi suicidal ass parade through the desert without me.” She scoffs with a role of her eyes. “We’ve come this far, I’m not staying behind now.” She finishes with a shrug.

Ursus snorts Semi suicidal you say? I'm not sure how true this is but I am happy to have you along so long as you stay close and safe. It'll be good to have you around too for I value your input. The more minds working on this the better, especially since you've also powerful magic and have seen what was back in our mountains. I'll try to keep my magic in reserve so we have ice to cool with and to melt for water.

Mai sat down, an eyebrow raised at the pair. Not that she cared much, it was just a little odd seeing the old slug with someone as pretty as her. 'Whatever' she thought it didn't matter much to her at all.

Hey I'd have rather NOT died and you know it. Though... It did have to happen. You'll see. Anyways lets formally introduce you. Ursus wraps his tail into Aelin's and slowly leads her over to Mai. Also Mai, as you may have guessed this is my mate Aelin. She is also my trusted adviser too.

Aelin nods to the other female. “Nice to meet you.” She greets, tilting her head slightly and smiling at her. She couldn’t help but find her mismatched eyes interesting, never having really seen anything like them in the past except once. They reminded her of a friend from her pup hood, who had one blue eye and one brown eye. The thought brought her comfort.

"I guessed it pretty quickly, really it's not hard to tell. Its just weird seeing someone actually enjoying you in that way after all the things that have happened in the past few years since we met," she said with a mellow tone. "Hi, I'm Mai. I've known Ulver for quite some time, before we even knew of this world," she replied to Aelin. She paused looking up at the ceiling of her den "I guess its still quite odd to me," she muttered.

Ursus glances back down to Aelin Shes possibly referring to all that I have killed along the way, as well as how I lost Masha and all that. Looking back up to Mai he shrugs. "I suppose, we had fresh starts here though. It brings me peace so I certainly welcome the change. She's a pleasure to have around."

Ezrah had gotten bored when the black male introduced his mate and has started to play with the sand at his paws. Making it take the shape of a wolf figure, then falling to a pile of sand again, to turn into an eagle. He looks out to the open land.

Mai gives a doubtful face to Ulvers attempt at reassuring her, while she doesn't want to outright deny any possibility of travel back to the old world she just doesn't want to get her hopes up. She shakes this thought off and gets back to the matter at hand "Who wants to come along for the journey, its a ways walk. I mean a few hours walk really, if we leave right now we might be able to get there before dawn but we could also talk and have everyone get to know each other then sleep through the day and leave just after sundown tomorrow. We could even have a little hunting party to get everyone fed and well rested." She thought to herself: I think I saw a herd of deer not too far from here, I'd only need a few to help me take it down.
