Ursus silently studies Kanza's reaction. It's to be expected, it's normal. And because of this gives a silent nod in response the his question, a nod as a confirmation and acknowledgment and acceptance of his emotions. It stems a line of thought however, as to what his emotional state might be. Specifically as to if he may suffer depression or any such issues. Best to watch him in case he is not well despite seeming fine. As do I. Would you two like some time alone to catch up? If so the den is open. I will tend to some things I had planned for the morning should this be the case.

Kanza exhales before he nods, collecting his emotions for now. "No thanks.." his gaze scanning the dens, "Actually I was wondering if you'd wanna go fishing? I'm a little hungry." he says as his eyes move to Aelin and then to her apparent mate. "But thank you for the offer."

Ursus yawns and looks back from where he came, and back to the pair before him. Hmmmm~ Well, I'm certainly not opposed though while there are fish in the lake next to us I find it much easier to fish from the stream near our den, which is a a short walk from here as it's separated from the majority of the dens. And... You're welcome, Kanza.

Aelin visibly cringes at Ursus's revelation and Kanza's jumbled reaction. She had been planning to gently break it to him later after everything had been settled. Guess that plan was out the window. She sighs and relaxes at the mention of fishing, something they often did as pups. "Yes fishing sounds great Kanza." she says, giving him a reassuring smile that said she'd explain later.

Kanza nods his head in acceptance and offers his friend another smile/slight grimace in turn. He was hoping that a fun activity they both enjoyed would help him adjust to all the bombshells he'd been exposed to in the past few hours.
