The shadow

Bolt

God... I have to go but my fucking paw! You are training to be a medic! He looked around for something to help his paw. He looked up at the tree he was under. Are the leafs big enough? It will have to do... He mustered all his strength into his back legs and jumped up and grab a large leaf. As quick as he could he made a sling out of the leaf and hung his left leg in it. He stood up, wobbling around, and started to hobble back towards the dens. He had to find help and get to the medical shelter as quick as he could. He started to pick up speed and soon he was running, yes with some stumbling but still running. He jumped into the mane area and looked around for help, he didn’t want to yell to draw attention to himself but if he didn’t the shadow would catch him. He hobbled over to the medical den thing, and found a small heap of moss. He swung of his sling to see that a rather large cut was bleeding heavily. He covered it with moss before grabbing his sling, and turned it into a cover to hold the moss over it. I don’t have much time, I need to get help... 

Bolt

God what should I do... one thing I can do. Bolt started to surcharging around to find anyone else who could help him. I can’t hide, but I don’t know how to destroy or at least imprison it. I need help from someone who knows about this kind of thing. He hobbled as quick as he could around looking for anyone or anything to help him. Why does this thing want us to begin with... maybe I could take the shadow from Fennex and he can do something because I am powerless. I can try and fight it from complete taking over my body. His ears perked up at the sound of paws slowly coming towards him... I can’t keep running from him, maybe it’s even a friend that can help. He stood there determined to face the shadow and get ride of it, at least for now.

Bolt

Bolt stood and looked into the things eyes, and smiled. Although he was terrified out of his mind he put on a strong persona, not to fool the shadow he knew that wouldn’t work, but to fool himself in a way. “So, you are going to take me in to the shadow this. Oh what should call him? Or her? I frankly don’t know! What should I call it good sir or madam? Oh and I hope there isn’t that much walking, if you haven’t seen I’v hurt my paw a little” Bolt kept rambling on about random things to keep his mind busy to think of a plan when he was brought to the thing.

Bolt

“So you are not much of a talker?” Bolt stared into its eyes. “Look I know you are an evil spirit thing who probably wants to put me in a life torment but can you at least try and make my last moments before my death slightly better?” He continued to stare stared into it’s emotionless pits for eyes. He whispered to himself “ Je tough crowd“ now speaking back to the shadow “soo do you know what happened to my friend Fennex? It would be really nice if you could talk, this once” he looked around for anything to help him, and he hoped that another pack member could help this catastrophe he and Fennex found themselves in.

Bolt

Bolt watched as the wolves merged into one, how the spikes shot out from their back and there teeth in each head seemed to double. Fear crept along Bolts spine but he had to keep up is act. “Me! To blame! I don’t think me being here as you shadow people count as me killing him.” Bolt said a frustrated. He did think it would be his fault but he had to act strong for when the shadow came to give him hell.”As for your master giving me hell, let him do his worst” he grinned. Bolt knew he’d have to face the shadow, but he had trust, hope and a lot of will to (hopefully) get him out alive.

Bolt

Bolt, feeling rather insulted,  he spat “I don’t have a brave bone in body? You use fear to get what you what and don’t actually fight. And I am brave enough to let you take me as your host!” He bit down as hard as he could on the monster around him, as well as digging his sharp claws into it. “If you are sooo brave yourself” he yelled “you will take me as your host!”

Bolt

Bolts breathing became sharper and sharper. He felt like giving up on fighting this cruel demon when... “Bolt!” A soft echoey voice called. “Bolt!” That voice sounded familiar... like his mother’s. “Hope” it whisper. “Hope”. What do you fucking mean! For god damn sake! I am about to die and all the help you give my is the word... hope.... Hope. And what even are you? I’v never heard this before. It whispered to him “ You needed help Boltie, when you and your father and I died, our souls attached to you. We helped you in secret but now you need to hear us. You have our skills, use them.” Bolt looked into the demon and then smirked and then whispered to himself “I’m not alone”. His fear was gone, his hope and will however was stronger then ever.
