"It is, they can heal slowly which is part of why they can be a problem. See a deer can take up to around half an hour even if its a fatal injury to a lung. A torn jugular is a bit different however, but it can still take many minuets, especially on larger creatures like cattle. I got a shard of ice in its lung, I missed it's heart. And that's why this happened." Ursus then looks around a moment and looks at the snow and nods "Yes please, I'd love some help covering it." Before he starts covering it, he rips a hind leg off and casually places it next to Jackie without looking at her to try to prevent her from feeling awkward and then gets to covering the rear half with snow.
