"Right... Here's to making a better future with less violence!" And with that Ursus gestures for Aelin to follow him back down towards the hunting grounds. Once they are back in the tree line Ursus stops and faces Aelin. "While we walk through here, be alert for deer and rabbits, they tend to like the cover of these woods."

As they keep walking, Ursus can't help but be reminded of Bay, and how she couldn't hear. Ursus nods to himself and stops them once more, and faces her. "I can't help but wonder something. I recently had a friend whom was totally deaf and so she couldn't understand me unless she was looking at me... You remind me of this. Our friendship made me want to find another way to communicate with her but I never got the chance to try it out. Would you mind if I try it? Assuming you can't hear me talk in the first place anyways."

Aelin, not one to purposefully reveal weaknesses, rolls her brown orbs at the male. "What are you talking about?" she said, a slight defensive tone to her voice, not wishing to look more like a disgrace than she already was.

Ursus laughs "Right sure lets go with that." He then smirks as he uses telepathy and says into her mind with his deep, bass-y rumbling voice. " 'Twas a ruse, Aelin, for I said no curse at all. Instead I said your name, for if you could hear me, you would have had some kind of reaction, involuntary or otherwise."

The snowy fae jerks backwards in surprise, staring at the male, wide eyed. "W-what?" she stutters, in shock from 'hearing' a voice for the first time since she was a young pup.

Ursus mouths "Please don't be alarmed." Before switching back to Telepathy. "I am afraid I can't heal your sense of hearing, but at least you may hear me, even if it's only me and no one else. That way we may speak without you having to watch my lips, a tedious task I am sure."

Ursus nods and turns but continues to speak telepathically. "Alright, sounds good to me! Ah I must say this is a bit odd for me too, and oh the looks on others faces when they see you speaking to me yet I am silent! I can't wait to mess with my friends too. The possibilities are endless! Though the best use for sure has to be being able to speak with you, I am happy I can make things at least a little easier for you, our newest pack member."

With her newly healed leg, Aelin is quick enough to pad alongside the male, a few inches behind due to rank respect. “Yes i can imagine how this would puzzle a few. And I thank you again. I-it’s been a very long time since.., well, it’s been a long time.” She says, voice softer at the last sentance. She then stops, catching scent of an elk cow with her sensitive nose.
