Aelin watched him skeptically for a moment before slowly riping open the side of the elk. She then yanks a small piece of the lateral muscle before stepping back to eat the tough meat

Ursus doesn't approach the carcass but instead watches her back as he promised. He occasionally turns his body so that he may scan the entire area around them, especially as distant yelps and chattering are heard.

Ursus can't help but snicker a bit "Fine fine I'll eat. Thank you for sharing your kill." (Telepathy). Ursus rips into a shoulder and tears a hunk of meat out that he eats on while carefully scanning their area.

Ursus quickly finished the bit of meat he had pulled off and quickly cleans up. "Right, I suppose that is that. Would you like for me to bring this back with us? Though we don't have to leave yet."
