As they stroll onwards, the snow begins to get a little more on the shallow side, only being one to two inches deep. As they break the forests tree line, it opens up into a fog filled valley. A babbling brook runs on down with mist peeling up and away as the waterfall rages, cascading down and filtering the moons light into a pale archway amongst its mist. Mosses cling to the rounded stones of the pool that the waterfall has carved and contrast with the snowy floor of the hollow they have just wandered into.

Aelin looks around in wonder, having never seen anything quite like this before. “A long time ago, Kijian and I used to race to the falls in our territory. It was one of my favorite memories...” she trails off in a dazed voice, shaking her head, before continuing onward.

Ursus can't help but wonder what she is talking about but know's not to ask just yet. "I am glad you may find comfort in this place, then Aelin." (Telepathy). He approaches and drinks from the falls water before gazing back up at the moonbow and the aurora that begins to shimmer into being behind it.

It's not every night the night sky shines green like that for us here. Though you can see it more frequently by the dens. Have you seen an Aurora before?

Aelin nods slowly, not taking her eyes from the sky. "Yes, never green before though. Typically light blues, purples, and pinks." the fae sighs at the memory. "I was born in the North. I um... changed packs when I was a few weeks old but they were also in the far north. I didn't leave until a few months ago." she says quietly, reflecting on exactly why she left. She quickly shakes it off and continues, "After wandering for a few months, I met Droplet, I'm sure you know him, and stayed there for a short time. Before wandering up here anyways.

Ah I see, so you have always been in the North too, until being in the White River Pack. You really were not there long at all. And yes, I do know Droplet. I wish we had parted on better terms but that is what happens when you do as they did. I am glad you ran into me, especially before meeting anyone else. I must admit I have many questions for you, but I'll wait. I'm sure that in time you will share the answers of your own accord if I manage to earn your trust. I'll just consider it extra incentive. Ursus smiles at Aelin as he finishes his sentence.

Hhmmm... Alright I can take a hint, I'll drop it. Droplet had best not caused you harm though that's all I have to say about that. As far as dens go, you have a temporary one but in time you'll be able to get a better one. I have been expanding the turf a bit and my den is actually just over there. Ursus gestures off to a cave thats a bit obscured with some Weeping Spruce trees right across the stream.
